Dr. Ronald Bradley ‘Brad’ Johnson, age 44, of Bonifay, Florida passed away July 20, 2020 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was born February 1, 1976 in Panama City, Florida. Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred and Fannie Dell Johnson and maternal grandparents, T.J. and Bessie Mitchell.
Brad is survived by his parents, Albert and Betty Johnson of Bonifay, FL; his wife, Jennifer Joy Cloud of Bonifay, FL; one son, Jevin Johnson of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Bradlee Johnson of Bonifay, FL; one step-son, Austin Galloway of Dothan, AL; one step-daughter, Bailey Cook of Hartford, AL; one brother, Mason Johnson and wife Callie of Bonifay, FL; one sister, Ragan Kennedy and husband Michael of Bonifay, FL; nephew and nieces, Chase Lewis, Macie Johnson, Jadie Kennedy, Jocie Kennedy and Lyla Kennedy all of Bonifay, FL; mother-in-law, Frances Hersman of Destin, FL; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
A native of Bonifay, Florida, Brad graduated from Holmes County High School Class of 1994 where he played Blue Devil football. After high school graduation, Brad attended Auburn University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science and then furthered his education with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He returned to Bonifay and opened Dixieland Veterinary Services. Brad loved football, especially college football, fishing and being on the water along with all genre of music. His biggest love was being an Auburn Fan - WAR EAGLE! He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2020, outdoors By the Pond at 902 Anderson Drive, Bonifay. Memorialization will be by cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to HCHS Ag Farm or HCHS Drama Department, 105 Blue Devil Drive, Bonifay, Florida 32425.
