Mr. Ervunes ‘Wink’ Rowell, age 85 of Vernon, Florida passed away September 19, 2024, at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida. He was born April 9, 1939, in Florala, Alabama to the late LeRoy Rowell and Laura Pittman Rowell. In addition to his parents, Wink was preceded in death by one son, Russell Rowell.
Mr. Rowell is survived by his wife of 19 years, Vera Hammack; one son, Randy Rowell and wife Jenny; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Rowell, Jason Rowell, and Christopher Rowell; stepchildren, Vera Laverne Taylor and husband Tommy, Roy Hammack and wife Pat, Judy Basarab and husband John, Kathy Gibson and husband Ronnie, and Tim Hammack and wife Laurie; ten step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
