Mr. James ‘Jim’ Russell Welch, age 81, of Bonifay, Florida passed away on October 14, 2023, at his home. He was born July 26, 1942, in Salem, New Jersey to the late John Welch and Ellen Russell Welch. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one son, Martin Welch.
Mr. Welch is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanne Welch; six children, Russell Welch, William Welch and Kelly, Joseph Figga and Gina, James Figga and Krista, Nicole O’Brien and Mike and Matthew Brooks and Dody; one brother, Martin Welch; one sister, Ellen Whipkey and Steven; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
